A good stool should be worth finding.

As a designer, I’ve spent countless hours searching for the right stool for a space. There’s certainly no shortage of choices online or in stores—but finding something distinctive, comfortable, beautifully made, and built to last can take far more digging than it should.

I started Stool Samples to make that search easier—and a little more enjoyable.

My goal is to bring together a thoughtfully curated collection of bar stools, counter stools, and foot stools, each selected with an eye for proportion, materials, craftsmanship, and everyday comfort. Pieces with personality that you won’t see everywhere. Designs that feel at home in your space and remain appealing long after the latest trend has passed.

I believe the perfect stool should do more than look good in a photograph. It should fit the way you live, feel good when you sit down, and hold up to years of use.

The name is a little cheeky. My commitment to good design is anything butt.
